Digital Producer

Our client, one of the world’s largest higher education services companies, is looking for a Digital Producer to help scope, produce and deliver digital products and services to customers in the UK and overseas. Reporting to the Digital Production Manager, the Digital Producer will project manage adapted and tailored, digitally smart, user friendly solutions that improve learning outcomes and meet customer expectations. The key responsibilities of the role include;

  • Advising colleagues on the options available in the creation and delivery of digital products.
  • Production and management of your own projects including QA and risk mitigation.
  • Reporting on the production status of your projects.
  • Resolving all project-specific issues as they arise.
  • Budget management for your projects.
  • Ensuring that best practice is followed and maintained in the creation of digital solutions.
  • Identifying where updates to existing or new processes and workflows are required.
  • Keeping abreast of and monitoring product, platform and technology developments.
  • Monitoring work carried out by external vendors and other internal teams.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with an interest and understanding of publishing, e-learning, accessibility and how content is produced digitally. Strong organisational and time management skills are required for this role, along with the ability to research solutions to problems and to look at different methods of achieving desired results. Project management experience and particularly experience in managing production and delivery of digital content is desirable but not essential.
