Digital Project Manager (ELT)

A global ELT publisher needs a Digital Project Manager to project manage digital product development of innovative digital products. This role is based in their Oxford office.

 

Key duties:

  • Scope, specify, budget for, schedule, and manage digital projects to ensure delivery to schedule
  • Negotiate and manage business relationships with suppliers in order to deliver projects successfully
  • Train team members so that staff are motivated and deliver innovative digital products
  • Manage virtual teams, which will include editorial personnel, developers and external testers
  • Research technology, relevant standards, best practice and the principles of digital and educational publishing

Experience / skills required:

  • You will have proven editorial project managing experience and experience working with content-rich software projects
  • You will have experience in creating and shaping digital product concept
  • An understanding of digital authoring technologies and delivery platforms is required
  • Experience of teaching English as a foreign language is desirable
  • Publishing experience and a formal project management qualification, e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation is desirable
  • You should also be proficient in the use of MS Project, Excel and Visio
