Term: Permanent, Part Time (17.5 hours per week)

Job Profile:

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced individual to help support the management of Ascribe, our content management system, and digital and audio publishing programmes, this is a varied position offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with the commercial, editorial and sales teams.

The Role:

Reporting to the Managing Editor, Adult Publishing, you will be assisting with the management of information on Ascribe, loading new editions and ensuring the Simon and Schuster metadata is feeding out accurately and on time. You will also be the key contact for Nielsen BookData and Amazon, working closely with them to ensure data integrity.   You will also provide vital support to our eBook and audio list with setting up and creation of the audio publishing and backlist eBook programmes from start to finish.

The Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, a meticulous eye for detail and an ability to interact at all levels.  Strong IT skills and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must.  A can do positive attitude along with the ability to multi-task is essential. Although not essential, experience of content management systems would be an advantage.
