A new position has become available for an ambitious and flexible Digital Sales Executive to join a large, successful and highly regarded global book publisher. Our client is looking to recruit a confident, proactive and organised Digital Sales Executive to focus on new business development, driving and maximising sales of their B2B digital products in the UK and European region.

As a driven Digital Sales Executive, the key day-to-day tasks and responsibilities include:

  • New business development - lead generation and follow up, prospecting.
  • Market research and customer needs analysis.
  • Build pipeline and managing the account relationship and sales process.
  • Arranging and visiting key customers and influencers
  • Negotiating terms/discounts where necessary.
  • Work towards and meet sales targets.
  • CRM management.
  • Reporting on activity.

Your time will be split between home, out in the field visiting customers in the UK/Europe and weekly/fortnightly visits to the Berkshire office for team meetings.

To be considered for this B2B Digital Sales Executive position, you will be degree-educated (or equivalent) with at least one year’s experience in a sales-focused role. Ideally you will be based in the UK and be able to drive. This may be ideal for someone looking for a step up or a move into field sales.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are fundamental within this role as is enthusiasm, the ability to work proactively and willingness to learn.
