A leading academic publisher based in Central London is looking to recruit several Editors to work on newly acquired content on a fixed term contract basis. There are two separate start date options and applicants should be available to start these 4-6 month contracts on February 9th or March 23rd. The successful candidates will work with this leading publisher of online courses to develop digital learning resources and media content to ensure this new content is presented to students in an up-to-date and innovative way.

The Editors will work closely with authors to support them throughout the writing process and resolve all editorial queries. They will engage with copy-editing and contribute towards creative interactive activities. They will monitor and utilise end user feedback to strengthen the products and create briefs for editing video material. They will ensure that their own work is delivered on time and within budget.

Ideal applicants will be educated to degree level or equivalent with demonstrable and excellent editing skills and a passion for language and for learning. They will understand e-learning practices and have experience of working with interactive and multimedia content. A background in maths, economic or physics is preferable and applicants should be flexible and hard-working and at ease in a busy office environment.
