Editor - adult and children's non fiction books

A super Editor role has come up with a leading adult and children’s trade book publishing company on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover contract starting in July.

As Editor you’ll project manage the development of new adult and children’s non-fiction books which are created for international markets. You’ll liaise with authors, illustrators and work closely with Design to create highly attractive and popular books in a multitude of formats.

You’ll oversee the editing of the books from concept stage to production, including researching, copy-editing, proofreading and quality-checking.

This role will suit a team player with an eye for detail and an understanding of the editorial process.

The company is in Northamptonshire and you’ll be based from the offices when fully re-open.
