Editorial Manager

 

We have an exciting new opportunity for an Editorial Manager to join the Educational department of a prestigious educational publisher based in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced editorial manager to guide and maintain a range of high quality products. This is a permanent full time position.

 

Key duties:

  • Responsible for ensuring rigorous quality control over a range of educational products
  • Manage and coordinate in-house and external development editors to meet project requirements
  • Support and promote external product endorsement processes
  • Assess pedagogical features and drive content management initiatives

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Established experience in an editorial management role within educational publishing
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask under strict deadlines
  • Proven experience of good author management and care
  • Thorough knowledge of content development and production processes
  • Line management experience and team development
  • Excellent communication skills and team building attitude
