Editorial Manager (ELT)

A leading educational publisher is looking for an experienced Editorial Manager to join their busy ELT schools department in their North Hampshire offices.

 

Key duties:

  • Ensure that the list is published on schedule and within specifications and budge
  • Assist in planning the long-term development of the ELT programme
  • Hire external project managers, freelance editors and writers as necessary
  • Work with Publishers and Sales and Marketing to determine what is required by the ELT markets
  • Create detailed workflow schedules for all Schools ELT projects
  • Work with Production and Development Editors at all stages of the publishing process

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Prior experience in a book production department is essential for this role
  • Experience working on ELT or multi component schools materials is essential for this role
  • You must have experience managing both print and digital publishing projects
  • Proven experience of managing complex vendor and external supplier relationships is required
  • You will have good schedule and budget monitoring skills and experience
  • You will have a flexible approach to tasks and be a team player
