Editorial Manager (ELT)
A leading educational publisher is looking for an experienced Editorial Manager to join their busy ELT schools department in their North Hampshire offices.
Key duties:
- Ensure that the list is published on schedule and within specifications and budge
- Assist in planning the long-term development of the ELT programme
- Hire external project managers, freelance editors and writers as necessary
- Work with Publishers and Sales and Marketing to determine what is required by the ELT markets
- Create detailed workflow schedules for all Schools ELT projects
- Work with Production and Development Editors at all stages of the publishing process
Experience / skills required:
- Prior experience in a book production department is essential for this role
- Experience working on ELT or multi component schools materials is essential for this role
- You must have experience managing both print and digital publishing projects
- Proven experience of managing complex vendor and external supplier relationships is required
- You will have good schedule and budget monitoring skills and experience
- You will have a flexible approach to tasks and be a team player
