Editorial Project Manager
Are you an experienced technical editor looking for an interesting new challenge? Our client, a large and well respected professional publisher, based in West London and renowned for publishing cutting-edge reports supporting the needs of UK businesses, is looking to fill an Editorial Project Manager vacancy. The Editorial Project Manager will be responsible for the development and publication of the reports which will be specifically tailored for clients from a range of sectors.
This role is split into three main areas. First and foremost, editorial responsibility with the understanding of what the documents need to do, editing the text from technical language and adhering the style guidelines. Secondly, project management responsibility with the understanding of what's needed to deliver the work, and getting people to do what's needed to deliver the work. Thirdly, stakeholder management responsibility with regards to the clients who are sponsoring the projects in question. This is an outward facing role and the successful candidate will need to be able to lead meetings confidently as well as being an expert technical editor.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in editing professional or technical content with project management skills, excellent presentation and communication skills, excellent drafting and editorial skills and strong IT skills including MS Office and project management tools.
