Education Account Manager

A world leader in international education are seeking an Education Account Manager. Based in the Cambridge office you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and management of contract work with Ministries of Education, Examinations Authorities and other non-governmental national education organisations in the South East Asia region. Our client offers an excellent salary & benefits package.

As Education Account Manager you will manage high revenue accounts and develop excellent relationships with clients offering a high level service to key stakeholders, providing both strategic guidance and management of the financial aspects of the portfolio. You will also work with the business development team to nurture new opportunities. Main duties include:
·Oversee the delivery of all contracts in the region with a consistent good practice approach
·Support the development of new business opportunities
·Own financial budgets and forecasts for clients in assigned territory
·Provide intelligence from the region on the impact and implications for the business of regional developments and changes in national educational policy to inform future strategy

You will have a proven and successful background in working in educational publishing with ministries of education and / or experience with other educational organisations. In addition to the ability to communicate and negotiate with senior stakeholders internally and externally, you will have experience of providing strategic direction and of managing the delivery of services to the highest technical standards. You will have a passion for education and a natural leadership style that promotes empowerment and collaboration. You will be able to communicate effectively, build rapport with clients and have the ability to make things happen.
