Education Content Manager (US)

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Content Manager (US) to join a leading international Education publisher on a full-time permanent basis. This role offers hybrid working, with the week split between the company's Middlesex office and home.

As Content Manager (US) you will help to create and deliver Education and Assessment products and solutions which will meet US customer needs that both engage pupils and help teachers to teach more effectively. The Content Manager (US) will have a varied role where you'll have the chance to manage the delivery of US versions and adaptations, updates, and supplementary material to meet US customer needs; you will work with the product management team and the US sales team to define the product in detail, with timelines and costs, and commission new content from writers. You will also help to map the content to US state and district curricula as required, and ensure that the content works effectively on the required technology platform. You will also look to help plan how content will be delivered to the quality required, on schedule and to budget and monitor its progress. Lastly, you will ensure that support materials are appropriately written and/or edited for a US audience.

The ideal Content Manager (US) will have excellent experience of producing high-quality content and products that meet customer needs, and have previously lived or worked in the US. It's important that the Content Manager has a strong cultural awareness of the differences between the UK and the US. Good project management skills combined with experience of producing digital educational resources will be key, alongside an understanding of student and teacher needs and the education landscape today. You will ideally be commercially minded, highly organised and take a collaborative approach. Experience of working in education or for an educational resources or assessment business would be highly advantageous.
