We have an amazing opportunity for a Product Designer, to work as part of our Global Education division. Reporting to the Director, Global Product Solutions, this position will be responsible for the product development processes for key projects, and for the conceptualization of product design and product design workflow.

The Educational Product Designer Role:
The Product Designer will design and develop high quality, cost-effective educational course solutions for our major markets in EMEA and beyond. They will be responsible for all aspects of the product design and product development workflow, and will provide expertise both internally and externally in recommending online learning best practice, appropriate web technologies and course management system use.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other Global Education colleagues to define and develop appropriate product and course design to suit market needs in EMEA markets and beyond, in order to ensure optimal user experience for our customers. They will also manage/mentor Project Editor(s) to ensure best practice guidelines for product development process and project/course design are followed.
Educational Product Designer Selection Criteria:
> Significant experience in product design and product development is essential; experience in developing content for online courses would be advantageous
> Project management experience with strengths in budget and schedule maintenance
> Ability to develop and manage the successful implementation of product specifications
> Experience with a range of print and media product development
> Strong interpersonal skills including collaboration, communication skills, presentation skills, conflict resolution skills
> Ability to lead and participate in problem solving
> Results-oriented
> Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to communicate effectively through a variety of mediums (electronic, phone, face to face)
> Ability to work with minimal supervision and to remain self-motivated
> Efficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
> Education to degree level or equivalent in Instructional Design, Education or related discipline is essential.
