Field Sales Executive (South East)

A leading international educational and academic publisher is looking to appoint a Field Sales Executive to drive sales in their Library Reference Division across the South East. You will be selling established products in your territory.

 

Key duties:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for print, electronic and microform products
  • Maximize sales and revenue by identifying customer needs and offering solutions
  • Plan and attend customer meetings and follow through all stages of the sales cycle
  • Create detailed sales reports and maintain information using CRM systems
  • Target academic and public libraries throughout the territory
  • Attend conferences, exhibitions and tradeshows as required
  • Work closely with other departments and provide market feedback

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Extensive field sales experience, ideally within the library market and/or academic/educational publishing
  • Consultative selling approach and proven record of sales success
  • Customer focused attitude and ability to maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation and presentation skills
  • Ability to absorb and maintain extensive product knowledge
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the territory
  • Good understanding of the world of academia
