Freelance XML editor, Professional, London

Our client is a market leading provider of research, information and legislation for the professional market and they are looking for a talented XML Editor to join their busy team on an initial contract until December in their London offices.

This is to work on a series of legal documents using XML to produce templates for online publication. This would be a fantastic opportunity for editors with XML, SGML or HTML coding experience or with experience of document assembly / automation software.

Your key responsibilities would include:

-Document automation – using coding and logic instructions to create complex interactive documents (training will be provided)

-Online testing

-Making corrections

-Proofreading

The successful candidates will ideally be able to use document assembly software and be able to quickly grasp new technology. You will have a strong understanding of XML, with good time management and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail is a must.

Please note that this is a freelance position and so the successful candidates will be paid directly by the employer on a self employed basis.
