Content & Copy Editor

About the Job:

Do you possess a keen eye for detail and thrive in fast paced environments, delivering results without compromise to quality?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Content and Copy Editor to join our Editorial Department in the Black Library, where you’ll be working directly with our busy editorial team to develop, deliver and promote content ideas that create a compelling narrative around Black Library, its products and its authors.

If you have strong affinity for the Warhammer IP and a passion for writing, this could be your dream role as we look to you to create content and guides which will enable internal colleagues and external collaborators to navigate the Black Library range. You’ll be responsible for producing copy about Black Library characters, stories and franchises for a variety of uses, from promotional copy, incidental copy and blurbs.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and who values open communication as we’ll look to you to actively contribute to the overall output of the commissioning editorial team, reading and assessing work and offering creative solutions. You’ll be a natural when it comes to building relationships as we’ll see you liaising with creative teams across the wider business and with all our external freelancer contributors. At peak periods you’ll work closely with the desk editing team to ensure we deliver manuscripts to the production team to deadline.

If you are driven by delivering high-quality creative copy and to tight deadlines we’d love to hear from you, apply today!
