Group Export Sales Assistant

Are you someone who is passionate about books, analytically minded with strong excel skills and able to use functions such as pivot tables, v look ups confidently?

An exciting administration opportunity has come up in a leading Children's book publisher, based in South West London. The client is looking for an efficient and enthusiastic Group Export Sales Assistant for their busy Export team, reporting to the Group Export Sales Director.

The successful candidate's various responsibilities will include: acting as the day-to-day contact for distributors and freelance reps; sending out advance material including blads, dummies and advances; keeping customers informed on production schedules and despatch dates; organising shipments and invoicing; performing stock analysis and organising transfers; and arranging and providing marketing support. Proven office experience and an interest in children's books are a must, and previous experience in a Rights or Export Sales role is desirable but not essential.

You will have strong administrative, numeracy and IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint), the ability to work both in a team and to your own initiative, and you will have an excellent command of the English language (written and verbal). Some customer service experience would also be an advantage.
