HE Business Development Executive – Ireland and Scotland

Our client, a global provider of Higher Education resources, is currently seeking a HE Business Development Executive, to promote all learning products and solutions in HE institutions in Ireland and Scotland.

Field based in the territories, the Business Development Executive will promote key products and solutions to HE institutions, focusing on new business opportunities, with the following responsibilities:

  • Achieving revenue targets within the defined territories
  • Visiting key institutions to promote and secure new business
  • Effectively implementing a sales and business strategy
  • Arranging, preparing and delivering presentations to key decision makers
  • Identifying new business and adoption opportunities
  • Contributing to the genesis of new business development
  • Monitoring competitor activity
  • Collaborating effectively with the Sales team 
  • Effectively managing all areas of expenditure.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success in the educational publishing industry and/or selling digital and print products, with demonstrable sales experience, particularly in the relevant territories. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills will be required, as will a clean driving license and a willingness to travel.
