Head of Education Marketing – 12 month contract
A leading publisher in Central London is looking for an experienced and commercially aware Head of Marketing to join them for a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will be responsible for strategically developing an integrated marketing plan for UK and International schools. This is a great opportunity to join a prestigious publisher in an important role for the team.
Key duties:
- Liaise with senior stakeholders to develop long-term marketing strategies, with particular focus on digital platforms and consumer trends
- Input into publishing strategy to help develop products to meet market needs
- Work closely with sales teams, creating effective material to maximise opportunities and drive revenue
- Identify, report on and communicate consumer behaviour to develop strategy
- Use data to create targeted and segmented campaigns
- Manage a substantial budget
- Manage a team of 4 people
Experience / skills required:
- Extensive experience of education marketing is essential
- Proven success in developing successful marketing strategies
- Experience of managing large budgets (£500k+)
- Strong marketing experience in both traditional and digital campaigns
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Strong interpersonal, communication and management skills
