Head of Production and Design

Head of Production & Design. An internationally successful educational publisher, based in Hampshire, is seeking to appoint an experienced Head of Production and Design. You will lead and manage the production team in the areas of design, digital production and content production while supporting a range of business areas for EMEA.

Applicants for this position will need to be able to demonstrate significant experience in print and/or digital production in addition to team leadership experience while managing the Design department of a large publishing house.

You will have a thorough knowledge of Design processes, Design Vendor management as well as experience of image library relationship management.

Solid understanding of Educational publishing, first class negotiation skills and a high degree of commercial experience are a must!

Leading by example, you will be able to speedily build credibility throughout the designated region and your excellent prioritisation and organisational skills will motivate both staff and stakeholders.
