Head of Sales, EMEA

Our client, a world leading STEM publisher, is currently looking for a Head of Sales, EMEA. This is an excellent opportunity to play a leading role in revenue growth for their professional and academic product portfolio.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing and growing sales of an extensive books, journals & digital publishing portfolio.
  • Managing the EMEA field and office based sales, account development & customer service team.
  • Developing a global book and journal sales strategy including setting pricing.
  • Ensuring effective implementation of the sales strategy in EMEA.
  • Providing account management, including holding responsibility for large consortia deals.
  • Overseeing participation at trade shows and other industry related events.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of the global Sales & Marketing Plan.
  • Contributing to annual business plans and budget processes.

 

To be considered for this role you will need significant senior sales management experience along with hands on sales experience in closing high value subscription sales.  You will also need highly developed people management skills and the ability to lead and motivate multiple teams.  In addition, you will need a full UK Driving License and a willingness to travel across the territory.
