Head of Sales Operations

This Head of Sales Operations position is an exciting opportunity for a highly numerate publishing sales operations professional to join a prestigious publisher based in central London. 

 

Key duties:

  • Implement and manage pricing and stock management processes to support Sales and Production
  • Act as a key liaison figure between publishing teams and the distribution business
  • Work closely with Finance to review and set global pricing strategy
  • Work with Sales, Production and the Senior Management team to agree stockholding strategy
  • Resolve intercompany pricing queries and returns in liaison with the distribution business

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Extensive sales or sales operations experience in a publishing environment
  • Excellent numeracy and the ability to analyse and interpret data
  • Experience of implementing pricing structures and stock management
  • A commercial approach and experience of working with sales teams
  • First-class interpersonal skills and influencing abilities
  • Advanced level Excel and PowerPoint
