Head of Sales, Trade, Norwich

We are looking for a talented Head of Sales with drive, ambition and strong team management experience.

Our client is a highly successful wholesaler based in the lovely city of Norwich in Norfolk and they are looking for a Head of Sales to manage the team from success to success. You will be leading the sales organisation to manage sales and customer acquisition both directly and via your team management. The sales will come from a blend of existing accounts and new clients and through your account management skills and excellent pitches, you will meet and exceed targets, maximising margins to sell in printed books in the UK and abroad.

There will be an element of travel involved to major industry events; this will be a couple of times a quarter. The key to success in this role will be devising and implementing a winning sales strategy and motivating your team to push it through.

This will suit someone who is ready for a new challenge. Although coming from a trade publishing background will be an advantage, it is not essential. The successful candidate will be commercially minded and thrive under responsibility, able to come up with strong new ideas and to work closely with the Board to develop them.
