Head of Solutions
Our client, a leading UK technology company that provides services to global publishers requires a Head of Solutions. You will be accountable for the definition, scheduling, resourcing and co-ordination of platform solutions. You will also hold P&L responsibility for the platform solutions unit of the business
Key Responsibilities:
- To operationalise the business plan to ensure the achievement of target monthly software delivery income
- To engage with clients on delivery matters as required, including as final point of escalation to ensure resolution of delivery issues
- To direct the translation of client requirements into prioritised actionable work streams for delivery
- To act as line manager for the Producers, PMs and resourcing specialists
- To participate in key stages of the Sales process as required to provide key input for bids and proposals
- To be accountable for the management and delivery of the programme of projects against Exec-prioritised schedule, quality, efficiency and resource
- To define appropriate and illuminating MI and report regularly against this to COO and the board
- To be accountable for the identification and allocation of resources required to enable forward project planning and delivery against Exec priorities
- To identify and manage cross project dependencies, risks and issues
- To actively manage team development and performance, encouraging a high degree of ownership for these within the team, and ensuring alignment between business needs and the development of the team’s skills, competencies and career aspirations
- To be accountable for the P&L of the platform solutions unit of the business
- To be accountable for meeting key KPIs as set by the business (e.g. time to on-board client satisfaction)
Skills & Experience
- Managed P&L for revenues of £1M+
- Worked in a 100% customer focused digital agency or vendor environment
- Managed complex digital projects in a high pressure environment
- Delivered multiple concurrent projects to schedule, quality and budget
- Managed multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Delivered projects with budgets ranging from £50K to £500K
- Direct line management of 3+
- Matrix management of teams of 20+
- Have >10 years experience in digital
- Worked within the scholarly publishing sector
