Inside Sales Executive – STM Publishing

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a world leading STM publisher as an Inside Sales Executive.  As a first-class knowledge provider, they publish the highest quality science research in many formats and are a valued and trusted partner to the worldwide academic and commercial communities.

Reporting to the Books Sales Manager the Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for managing activities designed to renew subscription revenues and generate new business. The main responsibilities include;

  • managing major sales campaign to renew outstanding journal subscriptions
  • managing the promotion and adoption of textbooks
  • managing campaigns to generate advertising and recruitment revenues
  • managing activities via a CRM tool
  • representing the society at meetings, conferences and exhibitions
  • assisting members of the sales teams in identifying new sales opportunities
  • working collaboratively with the marketing team
  • providing customer and marketing feedback on potential and exisiting products

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills on top of the ability to understand the importance of customer data.  You should be able to demonstrate a sense of ownership for delivering high quality service as well as being a team player.  Experience in sales is essential.
