Inside Sales Representative
Our client is a leading publisher of Academic and STM books and journals with offices worldwide. They are looking for an Inside Sales Representative for their London office to join their Library Sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious and well-respected publisher.
Key duties:
- Promote and close consortia journal deals to relevant Librarians with the aim of securing renewals business
- Promote new online products to Librarians and possibly Faculty
- Drive and record sales leads, and maintain any calling or sales data
- Assist Librarians with any data analysis to drive renewal decisions
- Support the Library Sales team with leads and with meeting key customers
- Travel to biannual meetings and relevant industry meetings, where appropriate
Experience / skills required:
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Good communication skills; both verbally and written
- An additional European language would be advantageous
- A good team player
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet customers in territory
