International Sales Manager – STM Journals

A successful journal publishing company based in Cambridge, is now looking to recruit an experienced International STM sales professional to actively promote their journal portfolio and raise their global profile.

 In this role you will be responsible for retaining and increasing annual subscriptions, selling in new products and seeking and forming new international business partnerships.  Building relationships with librarians, consortia managers and subscription agents will be key and your account management will involve negotiation, renewals and retention management.

You will need to have:

•             Significant sales experience in an STM or academic publishing environment

•             Experience within subscription and consortia sales

•             Excellent communication skills

•             Demonstrable strategic planning experience

•             An in-depth knowledge of and contacts within scholarly publishing

•             An enthusiasm for new media, metrics and technology
