Journals Marketing Manager
Our client is a leading academic publisher based in London. They are currently looking to appoint an experienced Journals Marketing Manager on a fixed-term 12-month contract. You will be responsible for developing global marketing campaigns to ensure the success of their exciting and expanding journals portfolio
Key duties:
- Develop and execute campaigns for an assigned list of journals using the full marketing mix
- Create social media and e-marketing strategies and channels with marketing counterparts
- Effectively manage and build stakeholder relationships in order to maximise marketing opportunities
- Monitor and analyse the success of campaigns
- Attend editorial board meetings to showcase completed marketing activity
- Prepare and manage annual budgets for the list
Experience / skills required:
- Solid marketing experience within publishing, ideally within academic
- An understanding of the journals publishing market
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong relationship building along with time and project management abilities
- Highly motivated and creative with a flexible approach
- A CIM or equivalent marketing qualification would be advantageous
