Journals Marketing Manager (contract)

 

We have an excellent opportunity for a Journals Marketing Manager to join a leading academic publisher in Central London. You will deliver results-driven global marketing strategies for a portfolio of journals and will utilise the full marketing mix. Please note that this is for a 12 month maternity cover contract.

 

Key duties:

  • Create and implement campaigns for an assigned list of journals using the full marketing mix
  • Develop social media and e-marketing strategies and channels with marketing counterparts
  • Build and manage stakeholder relationships with external clients
  • Monitor and analyse the success of campaigns
  • Attend editorial board meetings to showcase completed marketing activity
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets for the list

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Solid marketing experience, ideally in academic or STM publishing
  • An understanding of the journals publishing market is an advantage
  • A flexible and self-motivated attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • A marketing qualification is desirable
