Junior Designer

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative Junior Designer to join the Marketing Communications department of a leading international educational publisher based in Hampshire, a commutable distance from London and Oxford. The main responsibilities of the Junior Designer include: to design a wide range of marketing materials such as brochures, catalogues, leaflets, flyers, posters, banners and advertisements. The Junior Designer will also be required to create mock-ups of new web page templates, and imagery for use on social media, blogs and web-pages. You will play a key role in shaping the design for all marketing activities.

 

The ideal Junior Designer will have a passion for design paired with a graphic design qualification or similar, a creative flair, working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (in particular Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and an organised approach to ensure deadlines are met. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills the Junior Designer will also be able to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as strong prioritisation and decision-making skills.
