Key Account Manager

A leading books distributor and publishing services provider is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their UK sales team in their central London office. You will have responsibility for selling client publisher titles into key trade accounts as well as specialist customers.

 

Key duties:

  • Manage and increase revenue from key UK accounts
  • Help deliver the UK sales strategy and develop specific plans to expand the reach of titles
  • Regularly analyse sales data and produce reports
  • Identify new revenue opportunities in non-traditional retail sectors
  • Work closely with sales and marketing colleagues in New York and feedback on titles and publishers
  • Attend sales conferences and book fairs internationally

Experience / skills required:

  • Sales experience in the book trade or publishing industry
  • Good knowledge of the UK book market and key account management
  • A target driven and commercial approach
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
