Key Account Manager

One of the world’s leading publishers of art, design and lifestyle books is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their UK sales team in central London. Using a target driven approach you will increase sales to their major trade accounts as well as non-traditional customers. This is a superb opportunity to join a global creative arts publisher and would suit an experienced Key Account Manager who is looking for a new challenge.

 

Key duties:

  • Account manage and increase revenue from major UK trade customers
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with traditional and specialist accounts
  • Work with Press and Marketing teams to set up promotional campaigns for retailers 
  • Regularly analyse sales data and produce reports
  • Attend trade shows and events and assist with set up

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Proven sales experience in publishing or the book trade is essential
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the UK book market
  • Proficient Excel skills and knowledge of sales reporting systems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A target driven and commercial approach
