Licensing Director

The Hachette Children’s Group is proud of its successful and creative programme in all areas of children’s publishing. Our fabulous brands and authors include Enid Blyton, Cherub, Rainbow Magic, Beast Quest, Mick Inkpen’s Kipper and Wibbly Pig, Horrid Henry, Asterix, and Charlie and Lola.

 

We are ambitious for our brands and continually developing new ways to bring exciting content to market. To support this goal we need a dynamic and entrepreneurial Licensing Director to conceive and deliver strategies for commercial growth, working with our international businesses, retailers, broadcasters, licensing agents and other media partners to maximise the potential of our own IP and develop our programme of licensed publishing.

 

This is a new and senior role, reporting to the CEO of the Hachette Children’s Group. You will need to establish and build credibility fast, working closely with colleagues to determine brand strategies and deliver significant and growing revenue.

 

With an expert knowledge of the licensing industry as well as publishing, and a passion for brand marketing, you will be a confident and driven professional with a proven track record in identifying and delivering successful licensing agreements.
