Licensing Manager

This role is all about the repurposing of content. Our client, a professional publisher in West London, is looking for someone to come in and look at the content that they own and be responsible for thinking up ways to exploit that. Ideally they want someone with contacts in the publishing industry who can they develop that business that they’re working to create. 

You will be responsible for managing existing relationships with significant Licensees and will therefore be responsible for maximising revenue
opportunities for these licensees. You will need to demonstrate excellent negotiation skills as you will be negotiating with third party software and content providers, publishers and, trade associations. You will work alongside the sales function and support them in their negotiations with academic and library consortia. 

The role includes line management of two executives so you must be able to demonstrate good line management and people skills, as well as team building and excellent presentation skills.
