Marketing Assistant
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join a leading publisher in Central London. The role will suit a highly motivated, extremely well organised candidate looking to support a busy and lively marketing team in publishing.
Key duties:
- Provide assistance to the Journals Marketing Team by supporting a wide variety of campaigns and projects, utilising all elements of the marketing mix
- Schedule updates across a range of social media platforms (Twitter/Facebook/LinkedIn) and report on analytics
- Manage creation, set-up and analysis of online banner ad campaigns
- Coordinate the updating of brochures, business cards, postcards and other hard copy marketing pieces
- Set up and track journal free trials
- Market Research and data analysis
- Set up, monitor and review Google and LinkedIn Ad word campaigns
- Coordinate creation of conference promotion material
- Monitor competitor activity to feed into overall business intelligence
- Carry out admin support for the marketing team as required
- Meeting minute taking
Experience / skills required:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Highly motivated, extremely well organised and a natural problem solver
- Must have high attention to detail, be able to prioritise workloads and be able to work to urgent deadlines
- Strong computer literacy (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- A self starter with excellent communication skills
