Marketing Communications Executive (Libraries)

Do you have a passion for marketing products to the academic library markets?

A leading academic publisher based in London is looking to appoint a Marketing Communications Executive to develop exciting marketing campaign targeting academic libraries.

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for designing, managing and reporting on marketing campaigns across email, digital and offline advertising channels.

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Communications Executive:

  • Planning campaigns to drive forward the promotion of academic products, and raise awareness around the brand
  • Taking care of cross-promotion on the company's social media platforms
  • Overseeing email marketing projects, and managing content creation, copy-writing, proofreading, scheduling and reporting. This can include editing online content using basic HTML templates
  • Researching the market, monitoring competitor activity
  • Planning digital advertising campaigns, and brief design collaborators

The ideal candidate will be confident in their copy-writing skills, have a good analytical eye to assess marketing campaigns and a creative flair to write content for print and digital campaigns. This is an exciting position within a global team, and it could be the perfect next step for someone with proven record of marketing in a B2B or B2C setting. They will possess demonstrable familiarity with data, analytics and social media software, and will be able to use the full marketing mix in a creative way. A basic knowledge of HTML will be advantageous.
