Jessica Kingsley Publishers is an award-winning independent publisher committed to social change, publishing over 200 books a year. We are seeking an enthusiastic new Marketing Executive to help create and deliver successful campaigns for our Singing Dragon imprint, promoting authoritative books on complementary health for professionals and the general reader, on topics such as Acupuncture, Yoga Therapy and Nutritional Therapy.
Working within a supportive and dynamic team, this position will suit a candidate with marketing experience who has an interest in the books we publish. You will be responsible for all areas of marketing the imprint, from devising campaigns, planning catalogues, executing digital and social media marketing, and attending conferences. You will also manage our textbook marketing, liaising with lecturers to process requests and secure course adoptions.
Marketing expertise gained through working in publishing would be beneficial, and a demonstrable interest in high quality marketing, communication and fresh ideas is essential.
You will need:
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines
- An ability to develop a deep understanding of the market and the issues that affect and influence customers
- A clear, accurate writing style and the ability to produce fluent and persuasive campaigns.
Based in our London office, close to King’s Cross station.
