Marketing Executive, Academic Journals, Oxford

A highly prestigious academic publisher, based in Oxford is looking to recruit a Marketing Executive to join their highly innovative journals marketing team.

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for devising and implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns for the company’s Clinical Medicine journal portfolio; as part of this role the post holder will be responsible for managing relationships with key society partners and journal editors ensuring they are happy with the marketing service they receive and gaining support for any marketing proposals. This marketing position will work across both print and digital with a particular focus on using innovative digital marketing tools.

The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and proactive approach to marketing as well as a good understanding of the strategic marketing planning process and experience in managing complex marketing campaigns.  With excellent communication skills the Marketing Executive will be confident in presenting and able to build strong, valuable relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Any experience in marketing within publishing would be an advantage in applying for this position however; our client is open to seeing applications outside the publishing environment with the relevant marketing skill set.
