Due to continued growth, We are looking for an experienced and motivated marketing professional to join a global London based publishing/media company to enhance their team in all areas of the marketing mix.
This role will be responsible for the marketing of a number of B2B magazines, including campaigns, events, SEO and a wide range of digital products. The role will also involve building and retaining strong working relationships with new and existing clients, including attendance at events, conferences and exhibitions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating strong marketing and promotional campaigns
- Attending at least 10-12 events per year
- Using social media to generate product interest
- Maintaining strong product knowledge and clearly presenting product information to customers through various marketing channels
- Working closely with the editorial and sales teams
- Attending industry events, approx.10-12 per year
- Building strong lasting business relationships
The successful person will have:
- Proven marketing experience from a publishing/media background. Some event or conference marketing would be highly desirable
- Experience creating effective marketing campaigns
- Strong communication/presentation skills
- Preferably a background in conference, sponsorship or events marketing
- Strong commercial and cultural awareness
- Ability to learn and clearly present ideas and product information
- Good social media marketing skills
- Willingness to attend regular industry events
