Marketing Executive – Higher Education

A leading scientific publisher is looking for an experience marketing executive to implement B2B marketing campaigns within the higher education sector. This is a temp role to start asap until 8 August with possible extensions.

Key duties:

  • Manage social media accounts

  • Write copy and update product websites

  • Implement marketing communications campaigns that support print product recommendation/adoption by academics

  • Liaise with sales team to ensure they have tools they need

  • Detailed budget tracking and management

  • Purchase order raising

  • Conference support and attendance (minor travel involved)

  • Management of share point and filing system

  • Manage external supplier including printers and designers

     

     

Experience / skills required:

  • Previous Marketing experience ideally within higher education

  • University degree in Marketing or equivalent training required

  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills

  • Negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services

  • Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods
