Marketing Manager – Academic. A market leading, London-based academic publisher is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to join its Open Research team. This could be an ideal opportunity for an experienced Senior Marketing Executive or Assistant Marketing Manager who is currently looking for that next opportunity! Open Access experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the marketing plans for some of their key open access titles and will also give wider support across open access initiatives.

 

This role requires strong planning and organizational skills, the ability to deliver business focused marketing campaigns to time and budget, and the ability to analyse results and report on effectiveness of campaigns, as well the ability to work with senior external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

 

The execution and campaign planning of the global marketing and communications plans for your journals

Budget responsibility for these titles

Analysis on ROI of activities

Awareness of global marketing trends

Knowledge of managed products and associated communities

Familiarity with Webtrends and Google Analytics
