Marketing Manager (Books)

Do you have solid full marketing mix experience and are looking for a new challenge? A leading academic publisher in central London has a new opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join their friendly Books Marketing department. You will be responsible for for activities driving the acquisition and retention of customers, generating adoptions and enabling sales and revenue growth in the UK and internationally.  This role can be done from anywhere with the occasional travel to their London office (once/twice a month)

What you'll be doing:
• Create and implement effective multi-channel campaigns for a portfolio of products
• Write original and creative marketing copy for campaigns
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact

• Present marketing activities and future plans at editorial meetings and contribute to proposals for new partnerships
• Test new strategies and review plans on an ongoing basis and advise on new marketing trends and best practice
• Build successful working relationships with a range of stakeholders from across the global business

 

What you'll have:
• Solid experience planning, implementing and measuring marketing campaigns and using the full marketing mix
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised with a proactive approach and the ability to manage a varied work load
• Results oriented and an interest in trialling new marketing tools and channels, with experience of sales enablement highly desirable
• An interest in academic publishing would be a plus
