Marketing Manager, Academic, Oxfordshire

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager at a leading, international and academic publisher, based in Oxfordshire, to be responsible for the management of a high-profile psychology and mental health books list.

The Marketing Manager will have strong experience in hands on and direct marketing and key responsibilities will include:

- Monitor and analyse current market trends, identifying new target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them

- Actively contribute to the marketing strategy in conjunction with the senior marketing team

- Coordinate marketing activities and creating innovative strategies to increase customer engagement

- Analyse campaign delivery and results

- Identify new opportunities, analyse the competition and report on relevant trends

- Line management of a Marketing Assistant

So we are looking for a real star for this role. Someone who can show huge amounts of creativity with excellent communication skills as well as have the capacity for analysing campaign results. You will also be able to multi-task and juggle several projects at once with enthusiasm and a real team-player attitude. With an intuitive and innovative approach the successful candidate will see the bigger picture and have the ability to manage a highly prestigious portfolio through hands on marketing. An understanding of academic book publishing, or familiarity with psychology and mental health, would be an advantage but is not essential.
