Marketing Manager | Education | London. An innovative, creative and established London based publisher of educational materials is looking to appoint a highly efficient Marketing Manager to join their Marketing team and to manage the effective marketing of their print and digital product portfolio using the full marketing mix in order to maximise product sales and return on marketing investment.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will work closely with the publishing team and will help to influence commissioning decisions by providing market feedback.
Key responsibilities will include:
Planning and budgeting for marketing campaigns
Contributing to writing concept sign off documents and conducting market research for new product development
Managing internal and external partner relationships
Development of digital marketing activity in additional to traditional marketing methods
Managing the product and service content on the website, taking responsibility for the uploading of new content
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly focussed educational publisher and you will need to demonstrate your proven marketing experience, ideally within educational publishing and your thorough knowledge of the full marketing mix. Experience of marketing digital and subscription products to schools would be an advantage as would digital marketing experience. Excellent project management skills are absolutely essential as well as fantastic communication skills with the ability to establish new relationships and build on existing relationships in order to retain and recruit new teacher and school customers. This role will suit a candidate looking to take ownership of this product portfolio and looking to help shape publishing strategy.
