Marketing Manager – Open Access Journals

An academic publisher with one of the most successful track records for growth over the last ten years is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to deliver results-driven global marketing strategies for a portfolio of open access journals.

The Marketing Manager will leverage the full marketing mix, utilising digital and offline channels to achieve discipline and journal level objectives.  The key responsibilities of the role include;

  • Developing and implementing global marketing plans for assigned journals.
  • Leveraging the full marketing mix to achieve objectives.
  • Ensuring all campaigns are implemented on schedule and on budget.
  • Supporting marketing activity for journal launches and transitions.
  • Staying up to date with developments, industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Monitoring and analysing campaign effectiveness to inform future strategies.
  • Attending conferences and acting as a representative of the company.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with extensive marketing experience and the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships. They will possess exceptional time and project management skills and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
