Marketing Manager – Scholarly Communications

Our client, an independent marketing agency specialising in strategic consultancy and marketing services for publishing, is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to work with its expanding client base.

The Marketing Manager will have responsibility for a variety of projects from domestic and global accounts.  The main responsibilities include:

  • Managing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Client liaison and project management
  • Effectively monitoring and reporting on campaigns
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring strategies meet their needs
  • Conducting market research and analysis
  • Supporting the sales team
  • Event planning
  • Liaison with partners and suppliers
  • Budgeting and financial management.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant marketing experience with project management experience being an advantage. A keen interest in the latest marketing techniques is required. Excellent planning, budget management and organisational skills are essential, as are strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Some national and European travel may be required.
