Project Editor

A successful educational publisher based in Central London is looking for a Maths Project Editor to manage a range of high-quality Maths resources for curriculum change. This is a temporary contract to end of September 2017. 

Key duties:

  • Ensure timely publication of a large range of Maths resources
  • Work closely with internal teams as well as freelancers, and provide guidance when required
  • Control and manage spending against budget
  • Brief the Design department, clear copyright permissions, and liaise closely with authors
  • Plan proactively, monitor progress against schedule, and adhere to deadlines

Experience / skills required:

  • Previous editorial experience, good copy-editing and proof-reading skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills 
  • Previous project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
