Medical Editor

A leading medical publishing company has a great opportunity for an Editor to join their offices based in central London. The successful candidate will have solid editorial or writing experience in a healthcare/medical environment.

 

Key duties:

  • Write and edit a range of medical education projects for both, online and print editions
  • Manage and deliver projects in a timely manner and to high quality standards
  • Develop relevant content to meet needs of the target audience, working with key opinion leaders
  • Liaise with clients to ensure project are on brief and support marketing messages
  • Attend conferences and client meetings

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Solid editorial/writing experience within healthcare/medical or med comms publishing is required
  • Excellent English language skills with strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent presentation and client facing skills
  • Able to undertake and translate research into practice and to use initiative
  • Good IT skills including MS Office and ideally Adobe CS
