Medical Editor/Writer || Medical Communications
A highly successful healthcare Publisher based in Central London is now seeking to recruit a Medical Editor to develop and produce medical education products and projects focussed towards healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be from an STM publishing background and be familiar with client driven publishing.
Key responsibilities will include:
- To deliver on the writing and editing of a broad range of medical education materials including bespoke print and online projects
- Manage and take responsibility for the delivery of medical education projects to a high standard, on time and to budget
- Build and develop strong relationships with key opinion leaders within the medical field in order to develop clinically relevant content that meets the needs of the target audience
- Regularly attend client meetings and conferences as required
- Work closely with the commercial team to ensure appropriate briefs are compiled for each project
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in an STM publishing or medical communications environment with strong editorial and writing skills. The Medical Editor will be extremely organised, with a high attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team. Ideally the successful candidate will also have some experience with digital media and the ability to layout pages using InDesign; an understanding of P&L and budgetary demands would be an advantage in applying for this role.
