Mobile Software Developer, Education Publisher, South East

An innovative primary educational publisher based in Essex is now seeking a Mobile Software Developer to join their digital development team.
This publisher is developing new and exciting resources for primary literacy across the world and this role will be responsible for developing their next successful app for iPads and iPhones, whilst working alongside a third party company developing for android devices.
The successful candidate will have strong iOS development experience and in addition, any knowledge of android would be an advantage. The Mobile Software Developer will have a strong understanding of the English Language as the purpose of these products are to help children learn to read, write and speak English. A strong understanding of OOP and programming concepts is essential as is literacy on both Mac and PC. Any experience or knowledge of Flash, AIR, AS 3, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, MySQL, GIT, HCI and Photoshop as well as a knowledge of cross platform frameworks for mobile would be a distinct advantage in applying for this role.
