News Editor
There is an exciting new role for a passionate journalist to join the team of the insights service for the Food & Drink industry of a highly successful and established news publisher! Joining them as their News Editor, you will be producing breaking news, interviews, covering executive moves and new openings for a digital-based publication.
Our client is based in West Sussex and offers hybrid working options, with ideally 2 days in the office.
As an Editor, your role will be to:
·Manage the publication's agenda around
·Identify stories, breaking news and interesting new content
·Assess data and insights to find new angles for editorial content
·Conduct and write interviews with high profile figures in the food and drink industry
·Attend relevant events and conferences, with the potential to chair and host panels and Q&A sessions
This is an exciting, fast-paced, and busy role, with opportunities to attend openings, launch parties and other amazing events. It will suit a strong journalist with solid experience in news environments, ideally from national, financial or B2B publications. An interest in the hospitality industry will be required, as well as really good interview skills and people skills, as you will be communicating with key stakeholders and CEO-level contacts.
